Privacy Policy and Cookie Management
We use cookies, including third-party cookies and subject to consent, to collect statistical information about site navigation and to show you personalized advertising messages in line with your preferences. For more information on the use of cookies, view the Cookie Policy or MANAGE your preferences by choosing which cookies to install. By closing the banner using the X in the top right corner, only the technical cookies set by default will be used. By clicking “Accept,” you consent to the installation of all cookies.
Cookies are divided into various categories, and users may accept or reject cookies belonging to certain categories, provided that cookies strictly necessary for technical operation will still be used regardless.
Advertising cookies (behavioral profiling)
These cookies are used to track site navigation in order to analyze your behavior for marketing purposes and create a profile regarding your tastes, habits, and choices. This makes it possible to deliver targeted advertising messages related to your interests and in line with the preferences shown during navigation. This type of cookie is not necessary for the site to function, so your consent is required for their installation.
Performance analytics cookies
These cookies are installed to measure certain actions you take while browsing the site. In particular, these cookies are useful for statistically analyzing visits and access to the site, in order to optimize its structure, navigation logic, and content. This type of cookie is not necessary for the site to function, so your consent is required for their installation.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies allow the site to function correctly and let you enjoy its content and services conveniently: for example, they allow you to browse the site while retaining the contents of your shopping cart for online purchases, or they allow you to avoid taking any action on the banner containing the short notice (banner) every time you access the Site, because your consent choices are recorded. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled, and your prior consent is not required for their installation.
Cookie Notice
Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), acofe.it provides you with the following information regarding the cookies installed on the domain incise2027.cnr.it (hereinafter, the “Site”).
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of text, normally made up of letters and/or numbers, that are sent by the Site and stored by the browser installed on the device you use for browsing. Cookies are then sent back to the Site on your subsequent visit.
Cookies make it possible to store information about visits made to the Site and represent a very useful technology, as they support the operation of the Site, making it more efficient. Without cookies, the Site would have no way to “remember” certain information, such as the contents of an online shopping cart.
Cookies can be classified based on:
- duration: session cookies or persistent cookies;
- origin: first-party cookies or third-party cookies;
- purpose: strictly necessary cookies, performance analytics cookies, and behavioral advertising cookies.
Cookies that expire at the end of a browser session (typically when the browser is closed or when the session ends) are called session cookies and are useful, for example, for keeping a browsing session active. Cookies that, instead, are stored for a longer period of time (between one session and another) are called persistent cookies and are useful, for example, for remembering your preferences or for offering targeted advertising.
The definition of first-party or third-party refers to the website or domain that installs the cookie. First-party cookies are installed directly by the Site, while third-party cookies are installed by a different domain — for example, when the Site incorporates elements from other services, such as advertising platforms.
It should be noted that the purposes usually served by a cookie can also be achieved through other similar technologies, including the use of certain features that make it possible to identify devices in order to analyze visits to the Site. This notice, in fact, applies to any technology that stores or accesses information present on your device. This category may include, for example, HTML5 local storage, Local Shared Objects (also called flash cookies), and fingerprinting techniques. From this point on, whenever cookies are mentioned, this definition will be understood to also include these other similar technologies.
What are the purposes of the cookies used by this site?
Strictly necessary cookies allow the Site to function correctly and let you enjoy its content and services conveniently: for example, you can browse the site while retaining the contents of your cart, or you will not need to take any action on the banner containing the short notice every time you access the Site, because your consent choices are recorded. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled, and your prior consent is not required for their installation. These cookies are stored in your browser for the time necessary to ensure the correct operation of the Site and, in any case, in the case of persistent cookies, for a maximum of 1 year.
Performance analytics cookies are installed to measure certain actions you take while browsing the Site. In particular, these cookies are useful for statistically analyzing visits and access to the Site, in order to optimize its structure, navigation logic, and content. These cookies are not necessary for the Site to function, so your consent is required for their installation.
Behavioral advertising cookies (targeting cookies) are used to track navigation on the Site in order to analyze your behavior for marketing purposes and create a profile regarding your tastes, habits, and choices. This allows the site to deliver targeted advertising messages related to your interests and in line with the preferences you have shown while browsing. Furthermore, in order to carry out better targeting activities, the data collected through these cookies may also be shared in aggregate form with additional platforms used by incise2027.cnr.it. These cookies are not necessary for the Site to function, so your consent is required for their installation.
How are cookie preferences managed?
The first time you access any page of the Site, a banner appears containing a short notice and a link that lets you open the COOKIE CONSENT CENTER, through which you can easily choose which cookies to install. You can access the consent center at any time, easily, via a dedicated link in the Site’s footer.
In addition to the above, you can also change your cookie settings through the browser you are using, by deleting all or some cookies, or by restricting the sending of cookies to certain sites. You can find online instructions for changing cookie settings for the most commonly used browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari
Disabling or deleting cookies may compromise the optimal use of certain areas of the Site or prevent certain features from working, and may also affect the operation of third-party services.
Data Communication and Disclosure
Data collected through cookies may be processed by employees and collaborators of the company departments responsible for pursuing the purposes indicated above, who have been expressly authorized to process such data and have received adequate operational instructions. This data may also be processed by trusted companies that carry out technical and organizational tasks on behalf of incise2027.cnr.it. These companies act as data processors. In particular, with regard to the processing of data carried out through the Site, a company has been appointed to handle the Site’s hosting and data backup services. In addition, the data may be processed by external parties acting as independent data controllers, such as, for example, supervisory and oversight authorities. Data collected through cookies may be transferred to the United States of America, in adherence to the principles of the Privacy Shield, if the provider company adheres to that framework, or in adherence to other adequate safeguards pursuant to Chapter V of the GDPR.
Your Rights
By contacting the Privacy Office by sending an e-mail to incise2027@gmail.com, you may ask incise2027.cnr.it for access to the data concerning you, its deletion, the restriction of processing in the cases provided for by Article 18 of the GDPR, as well as objection to processing in cases of legitimate interest on the part of incise2027.cnr.it. Where processing is based on consent or on a contract and is carried out using automated tools, you have the right to receive the data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and, where technically feasible, to transmit it to another data controller without hindrance. You also have the right to withdraw your consent for non-necessary cookies without affecting the operation and functionality of the Site. Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
